MET GALA – TOMMY AND DEE HILFIGER ATTEND THE 2019 METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART’S COSTUME INSTITUTE BENEFIT

Hilfiger’s guests included Zendaya, Lewis Hamilton, Winnie Harlow, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Law Roach, Thalia, all in custom TOMMY HILFIGER, and Tommy Mottola.

WHAT:                     Tommy and Dee Hilfiger attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit on May 6, 2019 in New York City to celebrate the opening of ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’. Based on writer Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay “Notes on ‘Camp’”, the exhibition portrays how fashion and art have been influenced by themes such as artifice, exaggeration, and irony. The evening was co-chaired by Lady Gaga, Alessandro Michele, Harry Styles, Serena Williams and Anna Wintour.

Guests seated at Tommy Hilfiger’s table included Dee Hilfiger, TOMMY HILFIGER global brand ambassadors Zendaya and Lewis Hamilton, supermodel Winnie Harlow, TV personality and entrepreneur Kris Jenner, TV personality Corey Gamble, image architect Law Roach, singer-songwriter Thalia and music executive Tommy Mottola.

“It is always an exciting process to create designs that are inspired by some of the most defining moments in fashion”, said Tommy Hilfiger. “You cannot ask for a more memorable evening than the Met Gala to see these designs come to life”.

Friends and followers of the TOMMY HILFIGER brand are invited to join the conversation using #TommyHilfiger on Twitter and Instagram.
