It\u2019s an icon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate Timberland\u2019s 45th anniversary, the venerable company has introduced a\u00a0special collection that exclusively celebrates the yellow boot and other iconic styles.\u00a0Each boot is reimagined with sapphire highlights \u2014 a symbol of the 45th anniversary \u2014\u00a0and features premium details like two-tone yellow-and-sapphire laces, a dedicated\u00a0hangtag and a tongue embossed with the 45th anniversary logo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Introduced by Sidney Swartz in 1973, the yellow boot\u2019s initial appeal was thanks to its\u00a0pioneering waterproof construction. It was Sidney\u2019s own desire to have a pair of boots\u00a0that would keep him dry throughout the New Hampshire winter that inspired the\u00a0creation of \u201cTimberland,\u201d the name he bestowed on the style.
