Madonna in Diesel: From Club Confessions to the FIFA World Cup

Global music icon Madonna chose Diesel for two standout stage appearances in July, wearing custom styling and pieces from collections designed by Glenn Martens. Through both looks, Madonna showcased Diesel’s signature aesthetic, combining innovative design, sportswear influences, and club-inspired energy.

Club Confessions – Knockdown Center

On July 11, Madonna attended Club Confessions at New York’s Knockdown Center wearing a custom Diesel look inspired by the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Glenn Martens’ first collection for the brand.

The look featured a cropped utility jacket and a glossy pink satin wrap skirt, completed with metallic details and functional utility elements. Specially tailored for Madonna, the outfit reinterpreted Diesel’s aesthetic through a bold and expressive stage presence.

FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show

A few days later, on July 19, Madonna once again chose Diesel for one of the world’s biggest stages – the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

For the performance, she wore the Diesel lurex jersey zip top from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection by Glenn Martens – a shiny technical top featuring contrasting lace inserts and sporty details, reflecting Diesel’s fusion of sportswear aesthetics and club culture.

From club energy to one of the world’s biggest stages, Madonna and Diesel showcase a shared vision of self-expression, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of fashion.
